02Not available from the factory
The factory never made it slow down.
Out of the crate, a Light Bee has no 25 km/h anything - no switch, no setting, nothing you can hand a beginner. Road mode changes that: the familiar 25 km/h e-bike cap, on a bike that was never built with one, held for real. And it stays the owner’s call - lock it, unlock it or adjust it from the app.
Flip it on and the bike settles into a true, held 25 km/h - smooth all the way, never a jerky cut. For the street ride to the trail, a new rider, or handing the keys to someone you love.
Flip it off and the whole bike comes straight back - full power, full character, nothing held in reserve. One display, two personalities, and the owner decides which one rides today.
Fitting a speed limiter doesn’t approve or register a vehicle for road use - riders stay responsible for the rules where they ride.
03What “held” means
Smooth is the whole point.
Cheap limiters chop the power and the bike lurches - cap, cut, coast, repeat. The Dash Pro rides the line instead: full pull up to the cap, then it eases in and simply stays there, like the bike was born with it.

Does it really hold 25 km/h, or just cut the power?
It holds. The bike settles at the cap and stays there smoothly. No surging, no cut-and-coast - riders describe it as feeling factory-built.
Can I turn it off?
Yes - instantly, from the app, if you’re the owner. Trail mode gives the whole bike back. You can also allow a single unlocked ride without giving up control.
Can I set a different number than 25?
Yes. Pick the cap that fits the rider and the place. 25 km/h - the familiar e-bike pace - is one tap away.
Who can change the setting?
Only the owner. Shared riders get exactly the limits you give them, and the display shows its restricted modes while a cap is on.
Is this some kind of approval for the road?
No - and we won’t pretend otherwise. Fitting a limiter doesn’t approve or register a vehicle. What it gives you is a bike the whole family can genuinely share.
What do I need to install?
Everything ships in one box: display, bar remote and the connection kit, fitted once following the guide.
