The INOKIM OX controller upgrade for riders who have outgrown the stock power.
The OX motor has far more in it than the stock controller lets out. This kit swaps that controller for an ASI BAC855 that plugs into the OX loom under the deck. It is configured for the battery you ride: from 1,520 W on the original ECO pack up to 6,250 W and about 83 km/h on a 72V battery.
The ASI BAC855 INOKIM OX controller upgrade is a plug and play kit that replaces the stock controller of the INOKIM OX ECO, HERO and SUPER. Torque builds smoothly from a standstill, top speed rises on every battery, nothing is soldered, and our engineer fine tunes the controller with you in a remote session that comes with every kit.

What the INOKIM OX controller upgrade changes
The ASI BAC855 drives the OX motor with field oriented control. As a result, the same motor pulls harder, runs quieter and goes a great deal faster, and it does so on the battery you already have.

Power
Up to 6,250 W from the same motor
On a battery that can deliver 100 A, the BAC855 is set to 5,500 W on 60V and 6,250 W on 72V. Even the original packs gain torque and top speed.
Throttle
Smooth from zero
Field oriented control reads the motor itself, so torque builds evenly from a standstill and the motor stays quiet at every speed. Because the controller tunes itself to the motor, there is nothing for you to calibrate.
Battery
Configured for your pack
Choose the original ECO, HERO or SUPER battery, or a custom 60V or 72V battery, and the controller ships set for it. You can still move to another pack later.
Assist
Three levels in percent
Level 1 is set to 35 percent, level 2 to 65 and level 3 to 100 percent of the controller power. Each level limits speed and torque together, and you can change every one on the display.
Cooling
Motor radiator, optional
An aluminium radiator in black or orange adds cooling area to the OX motor. We recommend it for the custom battery settings, where the motor works hardest.
Limits
EU version with a 25 km/h connector
The EU version adds a connector that caps the scooter at 25 km/h where that limit applies. Because it sits on its own connector, it can be fitted or removed.
INOKIM OX top speed and power by battery
Every kit uses the same controller. What changes is how hard it is allowed to pull, and that depends on what your battery can deliver. That is why the controller is configured for your pack before it ships. We measured these speeds with a 65 kg rider.
| Your battery | Power setting | Top speed, measured |
|---|---|---|
| Original OX ECO, 48V 13Ah | 1,520 W | about 54 km/h |
| Original OX HERO, 60V 13Ah | 1,835 W | about 60 km/h |
| Original OX SUPER, 60V 21Ah | 2,650 W | about 72 km/h |
| Custom option 1: 60V, 100 A or more | 5,500 W | about 78 km/h |
| Custom option 2: 72V, 100 A or more | 6,250 W | about 83 km/h |
Pick your battery in the options above. Both custom options need a battery that can deliver at least 100 A. If you are not sure what yours can give, ask us before you order.
Riding with FabiRide Dash Pro? Then the battery setting stays yours to change, so moving from the original pack to a 72V battery later is a setting on the bars, not a trip back to us.
Choose your display: FabiRide Dash Pro or Eggrider V2
The kit replaces the original OX throttle with the display you choose, so pick the one that suits how you ride. Both arrive tuned and ready, but only Dash Pro talks back to the ASI.

New option
FabiRide Dash Pro
A colour touchscreen that reads the ASI BAC855 and writes settings back to it, from the handlebar or from the free FabiRide app. On the OX it also brings reverse, your phone, maps and crash detection to the bars.

Compact
Eggrider V2
A compact display with a button that switches the controller on and off, and a phone app for the basic readings. A good choice if you want the power and a simple screen.
What FabiRide Dash Pro adds to the INOKIM OX controller upgrade
Tune
Power, speed and assist from the bars
- Change the assist levels in percent, and also the power and speed behind them
- Build riding maps with their own speed and power, then switch between them in one tap
- Every change goes straight to the ASI, so no laptop is needed
Battery
Change packs without reprogramming
- Set the battery yourself when you move to a 60V or 72V pack
- The low voltage cut off then follows the pack you set
- So there is no need to send the controller back
Reverse
Reverse from the bars
- Select reverse on the handlebar remote when you need it
- Then roll the OX backwards out of a lift, a hallway or a parking rack
- A live indicator shows when reverse is engaged
Limiter
25, 45 or any speed you choose
- Hold the scooter to a speed and power ceiling, for example for the road or a new rider
- Lift the limit in the app when you are off the road
- Then hold three handlebar buttons for two seconds to put it back
Phone
Calls, messages and music
- Answer or decline calls from the handlebar remote while you ride
- Read incoming messages on the display as soon as they arrive
- Skip tracks and change the volume, so your phone stays in your pocket
Safety
Crash detection, maps and ride history
- If you crash, the display sends an SOS with your location to your emergency contacts
- The map is also on the display, one swipe from the dashboard
- Every ride is also recorded with its route, speed and power
The free FabiRide app

The FabiRide app is free on iPhone and Android, and the same account works in any browser at my.fabiride.com. You set the scooter up there once, then come back to tune it, share it with other riders and replay your rides.
Dash Pro fits many more bikes than this kit. See every bike and controller it supports.

Plug in the loom
Connect the new loom to the motor phases, the battery, the brake and the new throttle or display. Every lead matches an OX connector.
-
Close it up
Place the BAC855 where the old controller sat, close the deck and fit the display on the bars.
-
Tune it with us
Book the remote session that comes with the kit. Our engineer connects to the controller, checks your installation and tunes it to your battery, your riding and your terrain.
Keep it dry. Protect the controller and its white signal connector from dirt and water during and after fitting. Water inside that connector is the one failure the kit cannot protect itself against.

INOKIM OX controller upgrade: questions and answers
Does the kit work with my original INOKIM OX battery?
Yes. The INOKIM OX controller upgrade is set to 1,520 W on the ECO pack, 1,835 W on the HERO and 2,650 W on the SUPER, and all three gain torque and top speed. For 5,500 W or 6,250 W you need a 60V or 72V battery that can deliver at least 100 A.
How fast will my INOKIM OX go after the upgrade?
With a 65 kg rider we measured about 54 km/h on the ECO pack, 60 km/h on the HERO, 72 km/h on the SUPER, 78 km/h on a custom 60V battery and 83 km/h on a custom 72V battery. Rider weight, tyre pressure and terrain change the figure.
Do I need to replace the throttle?
Yes. The kit replaces the original OX throttle with the display you choose, FabiRide Dash Pro or Eggrider V2.
What is the EU version?
It adds a connector that caps the scooter at 25 km/h, for places where that limit applies. The cap sits on its own connector on the controller, so it can be fitted or removed.
Do I need the motor radiator?
Not on the original batteries. At 5,500 W and 6,250 W the motor works hard, and the radiator adds cooling area so it stays in its comfortable range for longer.
Does the INOKIM OX controller upgrade need any soldering?
No. The loom matches the OX connectors, the controller arrives configured and the display plugs into the loom. You open the deck, swap the controller and close it again.
Why choose Dash Pro instead of Eggrider V2?
Dash Pro writes settings back to the ASI: power, assist levels, riding maps, the battery setting and a speed limit, from the bars or the app. On the OX it also adds reverse, calls and music, maps and crash detection. Eggrider V2 is the compact choice if you only want the readings.
