Sur-Ron Light Bee X tuning - motor, controller (MCU), drivetrain and battery upgrades that turn a light electric bike into a sports machine. In the FabiRide workshop in Kaunas we do it all - from Torp TM40 Pro mid-drive motor swaps to controller tuning. We were the first workshop in Lithuania to build custom e-moto conversions, and we program ASI and SiliXcon controllers in-house. Parts ship across the EU and worldwide.
From toy - to serious sports tool
A stock Sur-Ron Light Bee X makes around 6 kW peak power, runs a 60 V (16S) electrical system and roughly a 32 Ah battery. That is enough for fun, but not for serious enduro, trail or race pace. Purposeful tuning raises power and torque, improves cooling, throttle control and sustained performance.
What matters most is consistency. A stronger motor needs the right controller, the controller needs thicker cables and a stronger battery, and all of it together needs better brakes and suspension. At FabiRide we build a balanced configuration in which the components match each other instead of fighting one another.
We work from a real workshop in Kaunas, S. Raštikio g. 28, and ship across the EU and worldwide - from a single part to a complete TM40 Pro build. You can also send us the bike or the part for the work.

Torp TM40 Pro mid-drive
Torp TM40 Pro - is a powerful mid-drive motor that replaces the stock Sur-Ron motor and is designed to work with high-current controllers. It delivers far more torque and higher sustained performance, while improved thermal capacity lets you ride hard for longer without overheating.
With the right controller (e.g. Torp TC1000 2.X or eBMX X-9000 V3) and a strong battery, the Light Bee X reaches power that already matches a real motorcycle. The exact result depends on the controller, battery voltage and configuration - which is why we spec every project individually.
Controller (MCU) tuning
FabiRide - we program ASI and SiliXcon controllers in-house; we also tune Torp and eBMX. Parameters - current limits, response, protections - are set to match your motor, battery and riding style.

The cost of Sur-Ron Light Bee X tuning depends on the stage you choose and the scope - from fitting a single part to a full TM40 Pro build. That is why we do not quote one fixed price, but give a clear offer built around your goal.
The process is simple: consultation and diagnostics → offer → parts prepared and shipped → fitting and controller tuning → testing. The scope also depends on parts supply - fitting a controller and a Domino is simpler than a full motor swap.
On the work we carry out we provide a warranty, and parts are covered by the manufacturers’ warranty. We explain up front how modifications may affect the factory warranty, so you can make an informed decision.

We work with most controllers on the market, and ASI BAC and SiliXcon controllers we program and match to any motor, so the whole system runs smoothly.
