Replacement sensor PCB for Torp TM40 & TM40 Pro mid-drive motors
This Torp replacement PCB is the motor position feedback board used inside the TM40 and TM40 Pro mid-drive (central drive) e-bike motor. It sends the rotor position signal to your motor controller, helping the system run smoothly and correctly. Choose the correct version for your controller type—this is critical for compatibility.
Choose the right version (Encoder vs Hall)
Two sensor types are available for the same TM40 (Pro) motor platform:
- Encoder PCB – designed for use with the Torp TC1000 motor controller.
- Hall (Holo) Sensor PCB – for TM40/TM40 Pro motors running with non‑Torp controllers that expect Hall sensor feedback.
If you’re running a TM40 with a TC1000, select the Encoder PCB. If your build uses another brand of controller, select the Hall PCB.
Why replace the motor sensor board?
- Restores accurate rotor position feedback to the controller for stable operation.
- Correct controller compatibility by matching sensor type (Encoder vs Hall).
- Genuine replacement part for TM40/TM40 Pro motor electronics—this is not a full motor or controller.
- Lightweight and easy to ship/keep as a spare.
What’s included
- 1× Torp TM40/TM40 Pro sensor PCB (choose Encoder or Hall version)
