Primary Chain Kit 420 for Sur-Ron Light Bee – Primary Drive Chain Kit (13T/30T)
A stronger and more efficient alternative to a belt. This #420 standard primary chain set replaces the belt and pulleys with a chain and two sprockets, while maintaining the original transmission ratio (13T/30T). Designed for use in sand, mud and intense off-road conditions.
Why choose
- Much stronger than a belt – resistant to sand, dirt, shock and high instantaneous loads.
- More efficient than a belt – lower contact area and coefficient of friction for better power transmission.
- Easier maintenance – change the chain faster, no need to remove the swingarm.
- OEM ratio – 13T/30T combination maintains standard transmission geometry.
- Durable materials – hardened steel for sprockets and high strength #420 chain.
What’s included
- 13T hardened steel motor sprocket.
- 30T reduction (primary) shaft sprocket.
- #420 chain (length according to OEM ratio).
Compatibility
- Motorcycle: sur-Ron Light Bee (L1E/X)
- Gear: primary (instead of belt and pulleys)
- Transmission ratio: 13T/30T – OEM equivalent

Will I need to remove the swingarm?
No, you can replace the chain without removing the swingarm.
Is the #420 chain noisier than a belt?
The chain may be slightly louder, but it has greater durability and performance in muddy conditions.
