The Torp TC1000 2.X is a high-power FOC (Field Oriented Control) motor controller (inverter) built for the Sur-Ron Light Bee and compatible TM25, TM40, TM40 Pro motors. Built for 72V (22S) Sur-Ron builds
This controller supports 60–80 V nominal (22S) battery systems with up to 92.4 V at full charge. Whether you’re chasing stronger acceleration, better control at low speed, or more consistent performance under load, TC1000 2.X is engineered to handle it.
FOC performance with sensor & sensorless support
TC1000 2.X supports both sensored and sensorless motor operation. Sensored control works with HALL sensors and an encoder, helping deliver stable, predictable response across the RPM range—especially useful for technical trails and precise throttle modulation.
Bluetooth tuning + stock display compatibility
Dial in your setup via Bluetooth and keep a clean OEM look—TC1000 2.X supports communication with the original Sur-Ron stock display. It’s a practical upgrade for riders who want modern tuning convenience without sacrificing the factory dash experience.
High efficiency and built-in protection
With up to 99% efficiency, the controller is built to convert more battery energy into usable drive. Protection features include safeguards against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and overheating—ideal for aggressive riding and higher-stress power setups.
Waterproof controller body (IP67) — important note about connectors
The controller itself is rated IP67 for water resistance. However, the connectors and wiring harness are not waterproof. For wet climates, stream crossings, or pressure-wash scenarios, proper sealing/placement is recommended.
