Magura brake disc Ø220 mm – Dovetail Interlink Technology, e-bike ready
Optimised for electric vehicles, but perfectly suited for regular bikes. The patented Dovetail Interlink Technology (locking of the outer and inner rings in the “swallow tail”) gives the rotor high stiffness, more even heat distribution and stable braking, even under high loads. The maximum diameter of Ø220 mm ensures maximum braking torque and good modulation on long descents.

Installation tips
- Make sure the fork/frame/port supports a 220 mm disc (adapter may be required) – QM 46
- Tighten the bolts crosswise with a medium-strength threadlocker according to Nm recommendations.
- Bed-in: 20-30 medium stops until the surfaces are aligned.
FAQ
Is it suitable for a normal bike?
Yes – although optimised for e-transport, it works well on classic MTB/city/gravel bikes (frame/branch specifications permitting).
Are adapters needed?
Often yes – if the caliper is designed for 180/203 mm, you will need an adapter for 220 mm.
