Torque arm for electric motor (M14) – 1 half included

Protect the frame and axle from spin. This torque arm is designed for hub-type motors in electric vehicles (rear or front axle) to reliably channel the torsional force generated by the motor and prevent axle “slip” in dropouts.

Why choose

  • Safety and durability: protects the frame dropouts from deformation and axle rotation.

  • Stability for more powerful systems: especially recommended for higher torque/controller applications.

  • Easy installation: fixing points to the frame or fork are provided (via a clamp, bolt or bracket – depending on your frame).

Specifications

  • Axle hole: M14

  • Type: torque arm

  • Installation: universal – on the frame/branch, orienting the lever so that it rests on a fixed point

  • Supplied with: 1× half fixing (as pictured)

Note: If your engine has two flat axle sides and high torque, we recommend 2 pcs (one for each side) for symmetrical load distribution.

Compatibility

  • Vehicles: e-bikes, e-scooters, lightweight e-platforms with hub motors

  • Axle: M14 (make sure axle size and plane geometry match)

Tips for use

  • Fix to a rigid frame/branch point; do not use thin or flexible surfaces.

  • Check the bolt tightness after the first 20-50 km and periodically thereafter.

  • Combine with washers and (if necessary) clamps of the correct hardness to prevent slipping.

FAQ

Is one torque arm enough?
For lighter, low-torque systems, this is often sufficient. For heavy-duty applications, two (left + right) are recommended.

Will it fit my frame?
It’s up to the individual – it’s important to have a solid support for the end of the arm.

Compatible with the M12 axis?
This model is M14. M12 may require modification.
