Reliable 13S 48V 60A BMS (Battery Management System) for Li-ion / Li-poly battery packs. The system balances cell voltages, provides discharge and overcharge protection, temperature control (if a sensor is used) and protects the battery from damaging modes – for longer life and greater safety.

Customization

  • E-bikes, scooters, e-motorcycles, pushchairs
  • 13S (48V nominal) Li-ion/LiPo battery packs
  • Upgrades and DIY projects requiring up to 60A discharge

Main functions

  • Balancing (13S): equalizes the voltages of groups of cells, reducing imbalance
  • Protections: overload, over-discharge, short circuit, over-current
  • Temperature control (with sensor): overheat/underheat protection
  • Stable discharge up to 60A: reliable operation in higher power systems
  • Low internal resistance: more efficient energy release, less heat

Specifications

  • Chemistry: Li-ion / LiPo (13S)
  • Rated voltage: 48 V (fully charged ~54.6 V, 13 × 4.2 V)
  • Elements in the 13 series (13S)
  • Max. Continuous discharge: 60 A
  • Protection: overload, over-discharge, short-circuit, over-current
  • Balancing function: available

Installation notes

  • Follow the correct pinout (B-, P-, C-, B1…B13).
  • Perform the first switch-on without load, checking the voltage of each group.
  • Use cables of appropriate cross-section and good cooling.
  • A fuse is recommended on the battery line according to the system current.
  • If possible, install a temperature sensor at the cell core.

FAQ

Is this BMS suitable for 18650 and 21700 cells?
Yes, if the pack is 13S Li-ion/LiPo and the current/heat requirements are met.

Can I charge via the BMS?
Yes – use a CC/CV charger of the appropriate voltage (13S Li-ion ~54.6 V).

What is the difference between P- and C-?
On some models, P- (discharge) and C- (charge) may be separate – check the BMS diagram.
